How do you change something that is human nature? How do you change physiological evolution? What can the average person do to change the world? What can make our world a better place? You can quote capitalism, socialism and so on but "Isms" bore me I think they are only brought up by people who seek to marginalize the potential of each ism to provide something meaningful. You name it, capitalism, socialism, even communism all contain something of worth, some value and merit towards structuring a society. The biggest flaw in human history has been its need to take the worst of a system along with the best. it doesn’t have to be all of one and none of another. Take American politics for example, you have to be a conservative republican or a liberal democrat. what kind of choice is that? what about the vast majority of people in the middle who see the positives of both sides and the flaws. no one caters to them because the money comes from the big parties. How did we create a system where the people on each polar opposite are slowly crushing the poor middle? The middle are the people who are trying to live their lives the best they can, coping and hoping. I think the middle is sick and tired of the fringes, the religious extreme, political extremes and the corporate extremists. I want a world that is open to all possibilities. even those we might not like at first. it’s a process that will take generations. people coming together learning , actually listening and teaching without threat of reprisal. the establishment fears change, simple as that, it always has. I represent change. that creates friction, which will lead to conflict. its an inevitability.I know the majority of mankind yearns for security, for spirituality, for hope. I know that people in established positions of power fear anything that destabilizes that power. But I still maintain that the average person is crying inside for a change, begging for something different. Why did we pave our planet? Why do we need money? What gives money such a hold over all of us? What makes it valuable? We do. It is paper and nothing more yet we sell away the better part of our lives to corporations and factories, just to have what we think we need. You don't need a new car every few years, or a big hdtv set up with surround sound. It is programmed into you from birth that your worth is defined by what job you have, how much money you make, and what things you possess. What if everyone could have whatever they want? Most people want more than what the person next to them has and that is the part of human nature that will have to change. That is the part mankind needs to cut away and live without. You sell your soul for a 9 to 5 job and a better office than your buddy, but does it make you happy? Does what you are doing right now to make the bills satisfy the urge inside you to be who you really are?Think about how many great artists, painters, writers, dancers, poets are languishing away, wasting their time packing boxes, filing reports, serving food, wasting away day by day by day. we could miss the next Yeats or Hemingway because the tediousness of work doesn’t allow the poor soul anytime to express what he/she feels inside on paper. Kinda ranted there but you get the gist don't you fuckhead?
